The Premier Native Fashion Event & Organization of North America.


Skilled volunteers contribute greatly to every Native Fashion in the City event. In order to support the event, NFITC volunteers will take on a variety of roles, such as:

  • Guest greeting and crowd management
  • Directing guest seating
  • Assisting with setup and breakdown

  • Backstage production*

All day or open availability is preferred over more limited availability.  NFITC volunteer positions and associated duties include:

  • Guest Experience/Usher: Assist in seating guests, answer general questions, work with the Usher team to provide a seamless and welcoming experience.

  • Crowd Check-in: Greet guests and answer guest inquiries.

  • Vendor Support: Greet vendors, check credentials, answer questions, assist vendors in setup and breakdown, manage and streamline a pleasant and relaxing vendor experience.

  • Runway Support/Backstage Production*: Help designers and retailers load in and out, help organize and prepare garments to designer specifications, attend to all applicable backstage needs.

  • Volunteers will have to be available for the runway event Saturday, March 21, 2020, between the hours 12 pm – 9 pm. Please specify what time you’ll be available for volunteering in the application below.  

*Please note that only a select few will assist with backstage production. Selection is at NFITC’s discretion.
